As we know that Earthquake, one of the most dangerous natural disasters is being experienced by various people in various places. An earthquake is the sudden movement or trembling of the Earth's tectonic plates, that creates the shakes of the ground. This shaking can destroy buildings and break the Earth's surface.  

How to analyze the pattern of an earthquake?

Earthquake are measured using watching from seismographs. The magnitude of an earthquake and the power of shaking is usually reported on the Richter scale. 

Same happened in north India. Strong tremors were felt across the northern plains, including Jammu and Kashmir, punjab. Rajasthan and National capital Region measured 6.3 on the Richter scale struck Tajikistan in central Asia. 

Northern India has been recording minor earthquake over the last two weeks as well. On February 8, an earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale struck Jammu and Kashmir. Two earthquake measuring 4.2 and 4.5 on the Richter scale were recorded by NCS in Ladakh. 

So, what to do during an earthquake? 

Stay as safe as possible during an earthquake. Be aware that some earthquake are actually foreshocks and a larger earthquake might occurr. Minimize your movements to a few steps that reach a nearby safe place and stay indoors untie the shaking has stopped and you are sure exiting is safe.
